Well, both were lacking in the same thing. MGM Studios is lacking "worthwhile" attractions (Who want's to see a 25 minute show on the making of animation when the process is so...predictable? Plus they've showed it on countless films.) and Universal Studios is lacking the same (Examples are the shows-very poor and rides like Twister and Jaws are completely unecceptable). Because of this, I agree with chet, they are both about the same. Islands Of Adventure, on the other hand...is a completely different story.

I think that they're both pretty equal. They both have good rides, but not enough of them to make a full day out of. I'm not going to go get multiple rides on Jaws and MIB when I could just as well go next door and get multiple rides on the Hulk and Spiderman. I hope the Mummy coaster for Universal will be good, it may improve the park alot.

I personally had more fun at Universal Studios, but both parks are basically the same with their own unique attractions and rides.

Personally, I like Disney-MGM better because of the Tower of Terror, Great Movie Ride, Backlot Tour, MuppetVision, and Indiana Jones. Most of the other rides have great themes, but suck. USF has got (or will have) the Mummy (which will probably be right up there with ToT), Back to the Future, Men in Black, Terminator, Jaws...they're almost equal in my mind. USF seems to be improving every year, and MGM seems to be getting worse every year.

now i like Universal Studios a whole lot better because they have mib, jaws, back to the future, terminator, and MGM Stuios have millionaire, tot, great movie ride, backlot tour, and mermaid! i think MGM is really cool, theyre just lacking alot of extreme and really fun rides! most of they're rides are just flat out boring, but universal has at least a few more good ones! and i do agree on what Danny said!''USF seems to be getting better every year, and MGM seems to be getting worse!'' so i'd guess i would have to choose Universal Studios over MGM!sorry!

Since making this thread, I can safely say that I like Universal Studios much more with the additions of Shrek 4D, Jimmy Neutron, and most importantly, Revenge of the Mummy. Both parks are awesome but USF gets the edge.

I like both parks equally. MGM has Disney stuff and Universal has movies that I grew up with.
