Vortex is a very fast, exciting ride. The best suspended coaster I have been on. I have always found the line moves very fast for this ride. Perhaps the best coaster at Canadas Wonderland.

This coaster is quite fast and a pretty good ride, probably the best coaster in this park, although suspended coasters arent my favorites. It feels quite short even though it looks quite long when walking near the structure itself. I found rides in the front to be the best, probably closer to a 7.5 or 8.

Great suspended... although I would have to say it could be a little longer.Going over the mountain was great too! This ride is extremely fast with a top speed of just over 100kmh! Sometimes there is some head banging on the padding which isnt very soft and should be replaced with softer material. The swinging is insane! Some times your the cars swing so fast your parrelel with the ground! Very exciting but kinda short a 10 for sure

Awesome suspended coaster! I love how it goes over the mountain, the walkways, and the water. It has a great first drop, a good helix, and the ride is pretty smooth. The speed is good, except at the end when the train comes into the break station its still going pretty fast and that causes it to sway back and forth a lot. If they could add track to it to decrease the speed and make the stop more smooth that would be great. Otherwise the coaster is definitely in my top 10 list. I give it a 9.

An ok Arrow suspended coaster. After waiting about 30 mins I was eager to see how fun this coaster was, because it looked to be a very neat suspended. Once we got to the top of the mountain, I said "thats it" as in nothing cool up top, just a concrete slab? Well, it did give a decent view of the park, and then down we went and through the swooping turns. The landscape was nice in the second half (down by the river/lake thing), but the banked turns may have been too highly banked and caused some really wild swings, which was kinda cool kinda not. Going into the brake run I saw something I have never seen in my life, and that is some wild swinging (about 45o to the horizontal) which was a bit unnerving. Overall, a decent suspended but not the best.

Vortex is a steel sit down roller coaster (suspended). It was built in 1991 by Arrow, it is 90' tall, and it is 2,361' long.Thi The ride is very smooth, and it has some good drops and speed. I like the helix over the water and the theming through the mountain. Its a must ride for any enthusiast. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

I love this ride, but its way too short for its own good. The location is perfect, the first drop is excellent, the huge banked turn-around is good [though a bit rough at the bottom]. If it were longer, itd get a 10, but as it stands, it gets a 9.

well, its actually been about 8-9 years ago since i went to canada, but when i did go, i do recall riding this coaster and it was a lot of fun seeing that i was only 8. i wish i could go to this park again in the near future, but im sure ill have to wait until im old enough to go on my own since my mom hated driving over the bridge. he he. but yeah, idk, i just can remember going on this and how it was a big deal even tho they already had the new top gun SLC from vekoma.

i love how it goes up wonder mountain!!!! its a small drop but the wheght of the cars make it go fast aroung 90kph!!! this thing is full of Gs vertical and lateral.u go 90 degrese on the helix almost tuching the water theres no better feeling, and when u go in to the brake run u just came from a curve at full speed and u slow down real quick and and its a thrilling experiance. i would give it a 10 but its too short
