Pretty poor log flume in my opinion. The revolving loading platform was cool and the ride was very long, but there was no scenery at all around the ride. Also, I prefer a straight final drop as opposed to the double drop this one had since the double drop didnt seem as thrilling to me, but this one did have decent zip. I also got a little wet.
I actually thought this one was pretty good. The trough is painted a very bright blue, which sort of fits in with the whole Boomerang Bay waterpark atmosphere, which is essentially where this log ride is located. You do some traveling around at ground level and get to see quite a bit of Boomerang Bay. Then you go up above all of it, before heading down the double-dipping drop. Im always torn as to which type of drop is better for a log flume. I usually vote for a single, long, straight drop. This double down was very good though. I actually lifted off my seat a little as we plummeted down the second drop. It was also a very photogenic drop, and there was an appropriately-wetting splash, so Id say this one served its purpose well.
the double drop is amazing, and yes, Boomerange Bay does add some theming to it, so I enjoy all of the ride and not just the drop.
One day me and my fmaily waited 45 mniutes to ride this, where as we waited 5 to ride the yankee clipper. Its a decent ride, and the drop is actually taller then splash mountain. The tall rapids section before the drop is exciting becuase youre so high up. but all these things can be said about ynakee clipper, which had a better drop and they took it out to built stealth, which they then took out.
what is wrong with park management?
This was a good log flume with a great drop. The Ol Clipper was better.

Not a bad log flume. In the 90s I would have given this ride a 7. Like many log flumes the only *really* exciting part is the curved drop. (I always thought that the similar Yankee Clipper, which had a straight drop was always the better ride.) However, with the addition of Stealth, they ended up removing the trees surronding the ride (and a lot of good it did them too!) causing the ride to lose most of its scenery as well as that sorta neat "hidden" feel the flume always had. Thus I took a point away With the addition of Boomerang Bay, the scenery might return and I might give this ride a "7" again. Who knows?
This is a fun little flume. I enjoyed it and that was before Stealth surrounded it.
Like most log rides all you do is one drop, but you get wet and you experience a pretty good thrill on the drop.
Nice flume ride, love the retracking under stealth. Needs better theming
I liked it. The only part good was the drop and the part where you see people on stealth. The drop is worth the wait because it cools you off
