I was pretty pleased by Crossbow. Now Im not saying drive 50 miles just to experience this one coaster, but if youre in the area its worth checking out. The thing that pleased me most about Crossbow were the very cool trains. They were extremely comfortable and I would say that they were as comfortable as B&M hyper coaster trains! However, the ride wasnt nearly as good as a B&M hyper. The first drop was pretty big for a family coaster and the first helix had really good Gs, but after that the ride just fizzled out and just creeped back to the station. After returning to the station I was ready to get off and run back in line, but no. What is this? Two laps per ride. I was shocked, especially since so few parks give multiple circuits on larger coasters. Definitely an enjoyable family coaster that gives a glass-smooth ride.
The Crossbow was a pretty good coaster. First off, the trains were pretty cool and the restraints were quite comfortable. The first drop and the helixes falling that were pretty fast and were much more forceful than I expected. As a bonus, the park gave two laps per ride.
A decent family coaster. The helixes are tight and they give you two laps, which I liked since you pay by the ride.
I think Crossbow is the best ride in the park. Its 55 feet tall, and it still has 2 circuits!
