This is one of my favorite ride styles and from what I understand this is one of the older versions of the ride. Unfortunately, thats not going to translate into a great rating. At least not from me it won't. As you approach the line you have to cross over a bridge of water. The trees really help set up a great atmosphere for this ride. You really feel as if you are heading into the jungle. The loading station is kept cool with fans and thats a good thing as this ride BY FAR had the longest wait when I was there. But don't worry, a long line at adventureland is nothing compared to a long line at some other parks. Now onto the actual ride itself. As i said, the setting really add to the atmosphere of this ride. But the actual experience is lacking. There are no geysers shooting water at you. and the actual rapids are very tame with no drops whatsoever. At the very end is a cave with a waterfall running over the exit. There is only a small part with no water running down so chances are your going to get soaked. This just seems like a very cheap stunt to get you wet in a ride with the actual rapids are lacking. Albeit a much appreciated stunt as it was hot, this is just a mediocre and short river rapids ride. Not bad, but can't compete with a lot of other nicer parks versions.

One of the older river rapids rides, and it didnt disappoint. The rides location and course was nice and the ride is suitable for the whole family. I would have wished I got wetter, but like all rapids rides, it depends on where you sit.

A very nice appearance and alot of scenery around it. Good ride capacity. Very fun if you want to get wet. One of the parks major attractions on hot days. Fast, fun, rerideable, and has long duration.

Ok... You will have to get LUCKY to get wet. I have gotten wet only ONCE on this ride. Now... If it is a hot day... You will have to wait a LONG time to get on. (Which sucks when you are waiting to cool off). Entertaining... Well... It is if you like to see your friends getting wet. Overall... Nice ride for cooling off (If you do get wet)

This is a great ride if it is a super hot day out. You get soaked, so if you dont mind that it will be fine. But on any day you will have to wait forever( or at least it fells like forever) to get on it. The scenery it good and the station was fine. Just be prepared for a long wait to get on.

APPEARANCE-9 It cuts through a very nice section of the park and the station and other areas look great. CAPACITY-5 Loaded very slow with a lot of seemingly unneccesary wait time. RIDE QUALITY-8 I liked it because I am old and didnt really want to get all that wet. However other people I saw were just soaked, great raft ride for all ages. FUN-8 A nice solid 8. The little kid riding next to me was hilarious I think his fun rating was about 15. Man was he happy. RERIDE-8 Good weather meaning a temperature where I could dry off and I would definately go again. One of the parks stronger rides. OVERALL-38 AVG-7.6 I will go 8 since capacity is its only real negative.

Obviously, IlIlIlIl, you are not easily amused or simply have forgotten how to have fun. Sure this ride isnt the best rafting ride in the country, but it was one of the first in the country and retains its original charm. Everyone can ride this one without the fear of walking around the park all day long with an overly wet butt! Plus, a ride is as fun as you make it.

One of the first river raft rides in the U.S. Provides a great ride without to much wetness to kill the rest of the walking around day. Not the top but an original!
