Call me crazy, but I actually enjoy these Zamperla Volare coasters and don't find them rough or uncomfortable at all. On a busy day, I can easily see this being a capacity nightmare, but thankfully I caught it on a slow day and I waited no more than 10-15 minutes. As always, the spiral lift hill is cool and the first drop is really quick and enjoyable. Then while compact in nature, I find the barrel rolls and turns to be really thrilling since they hit riders in rapid fire succession. Maybe I am immune to Volares, but I found this to be one of the best coasters at the park and well worth riding.

Time Warp was a disaster!

The concept seems really, really cool at first, which is the reason why we rode it. My friends were looking at it in surprise and great interest. They were decided to go ride it, and since I was the only one who did not want to, I had to follow.
The verdict?

WE'VE WAITED 1 HOUR 1/2 IN LINE FOR A SHORT AND PAINFUL MESS OF A COASTER (and I mean it)

The overall ride is so busted I have to make a con list just to show you how:

-Wait is painfully long

-Theming is nonexistent (except for the entrance and beginning of the queue line)

-Boarding the trains looks stupid and is extremely awkward

-Trains are hideous, claustrophobic and cover you completely with caging and TRANSPARENT PLASTIC WITH VOMIT STAIN IN YOUR FACE SO CLOSE YOU CAN SLIGHTLY SMELL IT, NO KIDDING!!!!!!!!!

-The whole thing is rough, violent in a bad way and shakes your head in all directions

-It's freaking short

-Exiting the trains looks stupid and is extremely awkward

So, yeah, this ride is busted, but if it didn't have those super tight turns and those awesome barrel rolls it would be absymal. Those almost redeem it, but not quite.

--It's a cool and funny experience while it lasts, but it's just not worth the trouble.

This is a pretty ugly ride and is kinda unoriginal, but when you get right down to it, it has some great thrills and that inline roll made me feel like I was going to slip out of the cage!

Date Ridden: Summer of 2008. Times Ridden: 1. This thing is basically horrible. The concept is unique. Time Warp (aka Tomb Raider until Cedar Fair bought out the park and eliminated the Paramount names) is a flying coaster which only holds 4 people per train. The ride itself never actually stops so loading is an adventure in itself. You, the rider/victim, stand in a certain location and hop aboard as the train moves slowly by you. The ride op then slams it shut and away you go. The lift is different in that it spends you in a circle taking the train up to the top before it is finally dropped on to the course. Up to this point, the ride has not been great but not bad either. That is about to change. Time Warp is really uncomfortable and I could not wait to get off of it. Your head constantly bangs into the side of the restraint, the inversions are among the most painful out there, and there is not one single comfortable moment once the ride starts its descent. From a distance, Time Warp looks like a fun little coaster that has some different elements. On board, it is a torture machine that I will never ride again. Time Warp is well below average. Just go to youtube, download a video, and put it in your ride tracker. That would be much easier on all parts of your anatomy.Overall Score - 4 for the unique elements. The ride quality would actually be a 2 or 3.

This was the best North American volare Ive been on, but it still could have been better. I found the theming to be pretty good while in the queue, but the ride itself lacked theming. I liked the first drop and the barrel rolls were fun, but the turns were brutal and quite rough. Lines were also horrible on this one.

I found this to be one of the worst coasters ever when I rode. then 4 days later I rode another at Rye and it actually made this experience worse. APPEARANCE-1 Not because it looks bad, but because the theme was stupid. Throwing up some signs, props, and some grass does not match the theme when this ride looks so modern. CAPACITY-1 Massively slow load times as they just load terrible. Again go to Rye. RIDE QUALITY-2 I like the first little drop and some of the true fear this ride gives me. FUN-3 My camera was crushing my balls because of my own stupidity which I always find funny. RERIDE-1 You would have to pay me, not a lot mind you since I am kind of an idiot, but pay me none the less. OVERALL-8 AVG-1.6. Its a one experience, no doubt. The one at Rye is a 1 or 2 and it is easily 5 times better then this pile of crap.

This ride is average, with fairly long wait times, some rough patches, and a theme that doesnt make sense since it is a flying coaster and Laura Croft doesnt fly. The first lift is well staged and the whole track has the appearance of the "Mouse Trap" board game setup.

Every ride on this is different and my last experience was superb...The theming is great for this ride complete with laura crofts base camp with motor cycle and the statues of the angry tribal men. The lift hill is very fun and the lying down is quite comfortable. Make sure to put your feet in the bars above the ones you feel comfortable in because you want to have your feet securely locked inside the cage. The first drop is fun and the tight turns are very intense...the ride is quite fast and the barrel rolls very fun. The brakes also help to make sure your head doesnt get banged around too. The ride is very very fun and quite intense but i have has some bad experiences on it so a 7 is good.

I liked this ride. It wasnt bad at all. I was kinda scared while waiting in line, but I made myself go on it and Im glad I did! It was pretty darn cool... definitely a rush. I was holding on for dear life, but thats a good thing! The turns were great, and the barrel rolls would have been better if Id opened my eyes lol. Anyway, I give it an 8.

It looks kind of like a wild mouse except its a flying coaster. The load times are terribly slow, the restraints are uncomfortable, its rough, it hurts, the colours are terrible, it has nothing to do with Tomb Raider and is not even painted to remotely resemble a Tomb Raider theme, the layout is horrible, I lost my gum while riding it, and did I mention its uncomfortable and it hurts? Theres absolutely nothing good to say about this ride.
