All I can say is wow! This ride got more airtime than any rollercoaster at the park!
Excellent version of a Chance falling star. I honestly went on not expected much, but I got a ride that had an very long cycle, some good air-time, and decent laterals.
This ride gives good view of the mall/park. Very large capacity. Very long ride cycle. Very much fun. Rerideable. Gives some good airtime when at the top and you drop.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!! Only my second Chance falling star, this one blew away the model at Carowinds, which is better than most of these types of rides so thats really saying something. Strong forces in the rotations and even some nice floating. The ride was a neat way to be greeted coming in from the parking lot, and was well worth my time. One of the better rides at the park.
I have to say I am surprised this is not rated higher. It is one of the best versions of the falling star I have been on. APPEARANCE-8 What it lacks during the day it makes up for with the lights at night. CAPACITY-8 No stupid rules about where you sit like that piece of crap at VF. RIDE QUALITY-10 Nice long cycle with an awesome view of the mall. You get some nice air also. FUN-9 I have been on a little funner version but this really delivers. RERIDE-8 Not as unique as some of their other rides so if I was on time restraints I wouldnt do it again. OVERALL-43 AVG-8.6 I will score the 9 though I actually had more fun on the tumbler, but that wait really hurt it.
A good ride I have to say. O.K. airtime, and going both ways, this ride is pretty good.
I have to say I enjoyed it more than the Mighty axe, (which i found boring). It has good airtime and a nice belly feeling.
Its fun to smash your frends into the seats.
Or you could call it the Woodstock ride, similar to a flat spinner type ride sitting sideways in theatre style seats, you move clockwise to counter clockwise. The force really moves you to the edge of your seat, and it is another great addition to chase away the snowy winter blues.
