Pretty good pendulum style flat, only behind the parks great woodie for my favorite in the park. Well the ride definitely has a huge carnival look to it, but it rides very well. The first half was rather slow and dull, but halfway through the ride, well, kicked it into nitro and gave one heck of a ride packed with pretty good sensations and nice air. The cycle was decent as well.

Started off a little slow for me, but started to pick up about halfway through and gave a really good ride. I cant stand the temporary look this ride has, but I do find it cool that as a smaller park they make quite a few changes to their flat lineup to keep the park looking different.

Appearence very well maintained. Fun. Rerideable. Ride duration long. Capacity alot of people can ride this ride. Very intense ride. One of my favorite flat rides.

This is the first version of this ride with the riders facing inwards and not outwards that I have been on. For some reason, Im not sure if it was the smaller size, facing inwards, the longer ride cycle, or the more and alternating spinning, but I consider this to be the most intense ride of this type that I have ridden. I have ridden the versions at Paramount Canadas Wonderland, Cedar Point, and Paramount Kings Island and I found all of these versions to be more relaxing than thrilling. This type of ride comes close to rocking me to sleep. However, Nitro was actually exiting enough to keep me awake.

This was a really fun flat ride. It looks great and the the ride cycles are long. You can really feel some + gs heading upward and you get some airtime once you reach the peak and start falling. My only complaint is that it could be a little more intense and it could spin a bit more.

While I enjoyed the ride, I really like facing outwards much more than facing inwards. The experience on this was that it was fun, but not really intense. The rotating was done in both directions, which I wasnt expecting, but the ride itself, despite a long LONG cycle, left me wanting and expecting a bit more. Probably the second best ride in the park, however.

I thoroughly enjoyed Nitro. Well, I must say I had extenuating circumstances. (Please dont run that through the spellcheck) I rode bright and early on a school day, when there were about 50 people in the par and no one that far back. I got a good seat and Im almost positive the ride op gave me a double cycle, judging from the duration as well as the sounds the ride made. The ride was very good, a smaller version that what the bigger parks have. The colors looked good as well, and it is pretty new I believe. The ride was special in that there were no bad seats. I rode about 5 times I believe and enjoyed every ride. Even when I only got one cycle it was still a good one. I got some solid airtime over and over again, and the small design enables you to enjoy one if not two streaks of airtime swinging back and forth. Overall, a really fun ride, but the people know it, and it had a line equaling that of the woodie, even though it doesnt even have a queue, just the trailer.Edit: I went today for a couple of hours with the after 5PM bargain, and I rode this a couple of times and the cycle, even under normal operation, is still just one standard cycle but it does run quite long. No more double cycles like that one morning, at least during busy hours, and I did see someone throw up

like the Claw at HP only smaller, like a temp version with the corners anchored into big cement blocks dug into the ground. One of the huge cement blocks kept lifting out of the ground with each swing and I normally wouldnt ride because of this but I did anyway. Decent air, its amusing watching the air time that those sitting across from you get when you see them lifted out of their seats

From past experiences, I knew this type of ride was fun (Wild Claw at the York Fair), but the restraints were uncomfortable. Hersheypark installed a ride similar to this (The Claw) by the same manufacturer. Because of the design of the restraints, I cant ride Claw at HP (the straight design of the OTSRs will not let it close over my shoulders).
Seeing different design of OTSRs on Nitro, I decided to give it a try. I fit with no problem thanks to Zamperlas CONTOURED OTSRs. A wild and intense ride... one of the best non coaster thrill rides out there.
