Cretaceous Trail is a walk through area that has nice scenery and animotronics leading up to ride Dinosaur.
Not very exciting, but very lush and mildly interesting. It does feel as though they needed something more outside of Dinorama to complement Dinosaur, and as such this feels too desparate. The trail is, however, very shady and nice to look at. Children may enjoy pretending to be dinosaurs; adults should walk through, look around, and leave.
Im was impressed witht the land scaping but this is not a ride/attraction is it? I thought it was a Nature Walk
After getting frustrated from the long lines at Animal Kingdom, and how I wanted a break, I decided to try the Cretaceous Trail. It was a walk on, and it was an okey ride, but not as good as many other attractions at the park. The Cretaceous Trail had extraordinary landscaping, really fitting the theme. Disneys animatronics were very nice like usual, and were wonderful for the walk through. However, by far the extraordinary landscaping is the best because it has tons of lush vegetation and it gives you shade. This is a decent family walk through at Animal Kingdom if you want to escape from all the frantic and wild crowds, or if you would like to take a break, or are tired. All day at Animal Kingdom, this walk through was a walk on, and no one who came off it hated it, or were scared. I recommend this ride if you want to escape the crowds, or take a break.
nice to get away from the hubbub but pretty average...i didnt really understand wot this really was ment 2 be...nice landscaping

Just a walk through experience. Nothing too special. Just good to get out of the mainstream for a few minutes.
I find this to be just another dissapointing feature in a pretty average park. These trails are just not worth it. At disney I think youre looking for more of a theme when they are doing their zoo exhibit.
Fairly pointless, and disappointingly short. Why this is classed as an attraction I dont know. A not very subtle sound system blasts out bird noises so its not even a nice spot for a relaxing break.
this might have attracted the birds, but ill never waste my time with this again.
Really - theres almost nothing here. A short little path, nicely landscaped n all. But thats it. How the heck does this rate as an attraction?
