The operators need to do a more consistent job of dispatching both boats at the same time. I am also surprised this ride was not built at more of an incline, because they are certainly not very fast. I always wonder why the inside of the boats are wet, because I certainly rarely if ever actually get wet. Children may enjoy it, as may adults a little bit, but it's not a great ride.

Santas Red Hot Racers is a very disappointing and boring wet/dry water slide. Located across from Rudys Rapid Transit Coaster, is the bright red wet/dry water slide. Two straighaways race each other, both dispatched at the same time. To enter the rides queue, you have to walk around a large building next to the ride. The wait varies upon how hot it is and what time it is. During mid-day, the wait generally is around 5-10 minutes. Later in the day and in the morning, it often is a walk-on. When its your turn to race, you board the yellow colored dingies and prepare to race against the other side. Once the ride begins, you get a huge jet of water shot at your dingie. Sadly, only your lower back gets wet on Santas Red Hot Racers when the water jets push you down the boring straighaway. You travel rather slowly down a barely inclined straightaway. You come off rather dry, and the racing aspect is boring. Mainly its boring because the two dingies often are dispatched a half-second or a second before or after each other. Overall, a depressing wet/dry water slide. I recommend this ride for children. Also, adults may enjoy it but its nowhere nearly as good as many of the other rides at Santas Village.

A fun water ride. you get in a tub and water jets push you down the track. you race the person next to you and you all ways get splashed when you first hit the jets. Nicely themed with the ride next to a fire house.
