What an impression of France. 18 minutes of breathtaking visuals and stunning sound. Comfortable seating and 180 degrees of screen makes the movie easy and relaxing to watch and on a warm day its a great way to get out of the sun. Stretching from Normandy to Cannes the images present intimate moments of Frances people as well as its pastoral majesty -- bringing to bear full use of the screen. The music though is really what sets this apart. Punctuated by Buddy Bakers solid score is the best of Frances composers. Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy are fairly familiar but Francois Boieldieus Harp Concerto is a gem pulled out of obscurity. What power. The real punch comes from Camille Saint-Saens who gives the best of his "Carnival of Animals" and the thunderous finale of his "Organ" Symphony. I could sit through this a thousand times.
