The Bat is Wonderlands offering of the common Boomerang coaster. It plunges down a moderate drop, through the loading station, and into a series of tight inversions. I have always felt the drop could be a bit bigger, as it tends to feel as though it's struggling through the inversions, making it rougher than necessary. This becomes especially prominent when it does the course in reverse. The lines are usually long, as the design only allows for a single train at a time, and I personally feel the wait is a poor investment for the ride experience. The Bat is a product of its time, but remains a popular attraction, and is worth riding once if the lines are reasonable. Vekoma Boomerangs are one of the more commonplace coaster designs found at amusement parks the world over. Wonderlands installment doesn't bring anything unique to the table, and more experienced thrill seekers might consider skipping this ride, in favor of the parks better thrill attractions.
