 Review of Yankee Cannonball, The @ Canobie Lake Park

Great wooden coaster, and it is one of the best rides in the park. I do not know how anyone could compare this classic to The Boston Tea Party, when all that ride does is give you a splash in the face!

Last Friday, June 1st, I was certified to operate this ride. The eight hour process of learning to operate this thing has definately changed my impression about it. It is too bad the rating system only goes to 10. It is the hardest ride in the park to operate for the operator must control every aspect of the ride, but it is a blast to ride (My manager came down and let me ride on it after operating it all day.) This is definately one of the best coasters I have been on. I am itching to get out to ride that new one out in Ohio. The Yankee Cannonball is clearly a classic, and one of the best of its kind.

Canobie will be switching to a computer controled sistum soon acording to Op. maneger. They said they wont be geting a now coster any time soom. they will get an adult ride and a kiddie ride in the 2002 seson (its 100 BD), rumer from some of the operaters i talked to is it will be a tower ride. Now I would never compare the Cannonball to the BTP but to shun the Party is foolish
