Ghostrider is unbelievable. As of now, it is the only wooden coaster in my top 10 of steel giants. This coaster is very out-of-control, something all woodies should be. The floater air on some of the hills is among the best Ive experienced. As a testament to the airtime, a family member lost his glasses (in his shirt pocket) on the crest of one of the hills! The best air in my opinion is on the first drop following the little brakes and turnaround halfway through the ride. The speed is maintained constantly throughout the whole ride. Ghostrider is relentless. The theming is also pretty good, especially entering the queue through a mineshaft. The great thing about this coaster is it never lets up and keeps you gasping til the final brakes. The one negative keeping it out of my top 5 is that it is a little rough. This seems to be why it is slipping a bit in the golden tickets as it ages. Ghostrider is a fabulous ride that should get more attention. However, if it runs very rough again it will begin to fall from its grace.
