This has to be the most flabbergasting rating for this ride. I hit this ride at closing time and only waited 5 minutes in line, it was my first Universal theme ride and as a big back to the future fan I was stoked....so was it good?? god no...the nonsense in line about Biff and Doc Brown was dumb even from a "we have to have a half-hearted story to keep people from rioting in the line" aspect. once you get in the ride, I got stuck on the side so 40% of my view was obstructed by the temple-smashing plastic wall thats extra high to keep you from seeing the other car bouncing next to you. It shook and rocked like it hadnt been oiled since 1985, excluding Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Great America, i have never hurt as bad as I did after BTTF. Its really a shame because compared to Spider Man and Men in Black this thing is a real turd, which isnt fair to the Back to the Future brand, it deserves a little upkeep. I really believe that they need to tear this ride down ASAP and put something else in, it isnt even worth it for nostalgia sake.

Did you ride Spiderman while you were at Universal Studios? Spiderman is so far and away superior to this ride I have to give it a 1. I probably would have given it a 2 or a 3 just from how painful and how unimpressive the whole presentation was, but Spiderman makes this ride its bitch, it needs to be bulldozed and given a proper attraction. It still has a lot of potential, age has just gotten the better of it.

He gave several reasons why he didnt like it so his rating looks good. Everytime I go this ride is worse then the year before.

My mom can ride this ride and doesnt complain. To think theme park enthusiests complain on a fairly consistant basis is quite pathetic. Sure, its no Spiderman and can get a little bumpy, but compare it to other rides in its time (Star Tours / Body Wars) and it blows those away. BTTF might not wow any kids these days as technology has gotten much better, but it paved the way for rides like Spiderman.
