This coaster is awesome. The inversions are intense, the first drop is sweet, the gs are plentiful. Great ride, only downside is the dragons are a very slow loader.

You had a problem with loading? Wow. They are usually pretty good when I am there....
Jason07 on 5/25/2004 4:29:01 PM said:
Yea. The line seemed to move pretty quickly, but once I got to load it felt like everything slowed down majorly. I mean yes the ice dragon broke down, but the fire dragon still moved so slowly. It got annoying after going on like 10 times.

OHHH YEAHH!! *slaps five*. U like ICE better than fire!!!!!! nice!!!! cause it iss and ur one of the few ppl to realize this!
Jason07 on 5/26/2004 8:25:03 PM said:
Yea go us! Ice is better. I find the initial drop a lot better, and the sensation of flying is cooler, then being thrown around .

plust u got some more close calls because of the batwing when u almost hit the castle!
Jason07 on 5/26/2004 9:50:59 PM said:
Good point. I sat in the front row of the Ice on my last trip and Im like holy crap were going to hit the wall, and then when you start roaring at the other one and sudden flip backwards, thats freaky too!
Waitj786 on 5/26/2004 10:13:01 PM said:
my point exactly! and its in a perfect spot because right before the near miss loop, whis, is, the, best, part!
Jason07 on 5/26/2004 10:55:54 PM said:
yes, I completely agree, also on the very first drop, in the very front it almost looks like your going straight down, straight towards the ground! Then all of the near misses meet up perfectly for us, especially that barrel roll underneath the fire dragon...PHEW!
Waitj786 on 5/27/2004 4:23:28 PM said:
ohhh god! that was one of the coolest parts, ice is the one that barrel rolls rite??
Jason07 on 5/27/2004 9:20:26 PM said:
Yup, the ice dragon who goes into a barrel roll as the fire dargons flies over it, it is such a cool effect and even though from th exit of the ride you can see there is a TON of space on the ride its like oh crap. I went on it like 12 times on my last trip and each and every time I thought we were going to hit, and all of the foot choppers, man o man.
Waitj786 on 5/27/2004 10:03:30 PM said:
geeze that would suck it someone did get their foot chopped off, and it would b kinda funny.!
Jason07 on 5/27/2004 11:24:40 PM said:
lol, it would be funny. I always think that its going to be mine because its so convincing, but it would suck because the ride would close .

dude thefunniest thing happened to me on friday. i went to dorney park with my friends and we were on line for talon, and you know how they fill the track with sand so that it is quiet, well one of my freinds said "wow this ride is sooo quiet!" and i just blurted out without knowing " oh they fill the tracks with sand to make it quieter" all my friends just stopped and all looked at me, and they all asked "how the hell do you know that????" hahaha it was sooo funny! thats how i realized that im a little tooo obsessed with roller coasters...

lol, dude you and I have so many things in common. When I went to IOA with my ROTC Unit, my friends whom I hung out with knew I knew almost everything about the park, so I was the one they asked everything. Then everyone in ROTC knew it as well so my Instructors kept asking me questions as well as everyone else. It is so funny, I always feel like a nerd but I think its great to know so much stuff about coasters, and parks, and rides and etc.
Waitj786 on 5/31/2004 9:33:41 PM said:
yeahh, i guess its cause im so interested in them, it makes me able to remember everything about themm. haha i feel like a nerd too....but ohh weell, its funny cause when my friends talk about coasters they say the dumbest things, and i cant hold myself back from correcting themm!! and my best friend Jon (who got me into coasters) is not even half as obsessed as me! he always makes fun of me when i talk about coaters hahaha, but i dont care its funny. how is ROTC by the way? r u using it to get ito college?
Jason07 on 6/1/2004 1:12:10 PM said:
Yea I find my self correcting people all the time when they tell someone something wrong, my friends and family think Im insane but oh well, lol. Actually Im using ROTC for the military aspect. My plans either way I go include the military. See if I stay in ROTC for all four years of high school Ill go into which ever service I choose expect the Marine Corps as an E-3, and Ill train to be an MP, this is if I choose to enlist after high school. My other plan is to go to the University of Miami and join AFROTC (Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps)and major in Criminology and become an MP that way. So either way Im joining the U.S. Air Force.ROTC did help me get a Varsity letter in Armed Exhibition Drill, which the U.S. Air Force Academy wanted me to have lettered in something, so it is helping me either way I look at it.
Waitj786 on 6/1/2004 2:12:51 PM said:
huh....r u afraid to fight?? i mean the air force would not be hand to hand, but still, thats kinda freakyy..
Jason07 on 6/2/2004 12:11:37 AM said:
Im not too worried about it. I mean I feel as though I would be helping my country, and riffs are bound to happen, but they dont just say hears a rifle, go shoot. Ill have 6 weeks in basic and then if I do ROTC in college 4 years there so Id have the proper training. Its just that if you are so worried about getting hurt your mind wont be in the correct place when it needs to be, and you could end up doing something stupid and getting hurt. Thats why I try not to worry about it.
