Basic fun house nothing more.
Visited Memorial Day weekend of 2005 and found all of the stunts to be working. Barrel rolled on its own, no manual help. Never been in another permanent (non-carnie) funhouse, so I dont have anything to compare it to, but it was fun and neat to see all of the stunts that youd expect from a funhouse in one spot still. (To my knowledge, there arent others near me.) The artwork outside is really cool (okay, my family is German, so I THINK IT IS COOL) and Id love to see the ride be saved if the park dies (which it, sadly, looks like it is).
From a visit 3 years ago: Few of the stunts worked, the inside was very light, and it was very "ho hum". Funny thing was, when we came up to the rotaing barrel at the end, the employee sitting there got up off his chair and manually spun the barrel.
Unfortunately only half the stunts were working. The first half of the walk through was great but the second half had nothing working. The moving walkways (not working), spinning barrel (not working), looked like half the mirrors were missing and there was a lot of empty space at the end like something else was missing. This has the potential to be a great funhouse and for all I know it used to be great, but it is below average as I write
Im giving this one an 8 compared to similar funhouses. Its a fairly large funhouse and still has moving parts that you dont see much anymore such as the barrel roll. I also give high marks to the facade-it has some great carved figures on the outside.
