 Review of Okeechobee Rampage @ Cypress Gardens Adventure Park

It was better than the inverted coaster that they had at Cypress Gardens but still wasnt that great. It went slightly faster than I expected, and the ride opererator sent the train around a second time, but It reminded me too much of a coaster like The Flying Unicorn at Islands of Adventure. Too much of a kiddie coaster to advertize as a roller coaster.

Its really not a kiddie coaster its more of a family rollercoaster.Dont really compare to other coasters give facts about the coaster.Also the fast part should be a good thing.

Yes. The fast part was a good thing! To me, a family coaster would be something like Thunder Mountain or Space mountain. Where the whole family, even the parents could fit into confortably. I found the seats on this to be a little too small. A person bigger than me would have a very hard time getting into this coaster. Something as small as this would be what I consider to be a kiddie coaster, but I think other people might disagree with that.

You must not have seen too many Kiddie coasters. This coasters have a redsanable seats for a family coaster. given the fact its suspended they had to make the seats slightly smaller to safly suport a childs size. But you really should rate the coasters by the style and not coasters in general. You cant be comparing coaster from Disney to tthose found in regulare parks. they just dont have the resorces to suport rides of that size.

I didnt find the Swamp Thing (the suspended coaster) cramped. But Occhobie Rampage was cramped in my opinion, like I said before. And sorry I compared Cypress Gardens coasters to Disney. I was just trying to find an example of what I consider a family coaster.

Also when they advertise there four coasters.They should make it to 3 because Fiesta Express is nothing.Its only about 8ft tall.I am looking forward to the waterpark and rollercoaster opening in 2005.

I guess fiesta express is what can be truely be called a kiddie coaster... They should have put in a full sized wild mouse instead of an 8 foot tall one.

Give them time they likely will. i have ridin in the vekoma family cars and yes I agree there a bit cramped. but not terably.
