Well, I just got back from Hershey Park today. It was a pretty good field trip, but not as good as I intended it to be. I think if it was n't as crowded then it would've been alot better.

When we first got off the bus, it was a madhouse to find our tickets from the teachers, find our friends, and rush to the first ride of the day. I met up with a couple people (less than i intended) and we ran to Storm Runner

STORM RUNNER: Wow. This ride cannot be put into words... well at least the launch can't. You slowly move up to the launch area, and they tell you the instructions. You can feel your heart beating. All of a sudden, you hear, "Get ready! Here we goooooahhhhhhhhhh!" Pretty much what it's like. 0-72 in 2 seconds flat is FAST. REALLY FAST. You rocket up that tophat, and then it's time to spread out your arms and legs and pretend to fly. The best sensation on a coaster, period. You fly through the cobra loop and then you burst into airtime over the hill, only to find two more inversions. I saved the best for... um... first.

After we rode that, my friends needed a breather. It seems that if you go on the most intense ride first, then the next ones aren't bad at all. We found that out later. We looked at the line of Sidewinder, and it was out of the queue. We forgot about it, and walked toward the other side of the park, to Lightning Racer.

LIGHTNING RACER: Well, well. This thing is baby-ish compared to SR, but still gives a thrill. My friends went on thunder, and my one friend and i went on lightning. I won, whoo hoo! I especailly like the first and second drops on this coaster.

We walked around a little bit, then got a drink. 2.50 for a 20 oz. soda stinks. They really rip you off at parks. We walked, yet again, to the other side of the park, and went over to the black monster. (a.k.a. the great bear)

GREAT BEAR: This ride is especailly great in the front seat. My friends have never been on an invert before, so it was pretty fun watching them scream. The helix before the drop is my favrotie element on the ride. The corkscrew (flat spin) at the very end hurts my head because it's unexpected. I think GB is a little overrated. If you don't wait for the fron of this ride, don't wait at all.

Once we got off of that, we decided to go on the skyride because our legs were tired of walking beack and forth through the park. Then, we got a huge bucket of fries , that me and my friends split. I spilled soda all over everyone and we were all sticky. That sucked, but at least it was a walk on for the Comet.

COMET: I love this ride in the back, because it just launches you down the hills, with massive airtime. Loosen your seatbelts, believe me. Right at the end of the ride, when you turn right before the last two bunny hills, i hit my hand off of the plywood on the left side of me, and it stung.

After Comet we just rushed to the nearest coaster, which was the Looper.

LOOPER: This thing is so scary when you hit the lift, because it just clanks and rattles all the way up. The loop is really, really intense. The ride doesn't get too specail after the loop, except for the helix finale. I love that part of the ride. (What was with the "scary" laughter in the tunnel?)

I was getting tired, and my friends were getting sick, so what better thing to do than go on... the tilt-a-whirl? Man, that was probably the worst mistake of my trip, because they were sick for about a half hour. After they calmed down, we went over to the Wildcat.

WILDCAT: OUCH! This thing is the most painful ride at Hershey. I can't remember a time on this ride when i wasn't slamming against the sides, banging heads against my partner, or vibrating uncontrollably. This ride gets a big . I liked it last year, maybe i just had a bad ride.

After the "killer", we went on the wild mouse. No need to do a review for that, except for i lost my prize when i went around the first sharp turn. I

MovieCoast, i was with west scranton intermediate school. What were you wearing. I might of saw you if you had:
1 A sword that you tried to take on great bear
2 a pink mohawk
3 You had a remark by me that said, "loosen the seatbelts, believe me" on comet.
4 Asked how i got on the other side of the skyride when there was the turnaround 10 feet in front of you
5 Tried to steal a bag of popcorn from an undercover cop LMAO (that was the highlight of my trip)

Any of those?

Lackawanna Trail is only a half hour away from me. I live in Scranton. You didn't, by any chance, play in the Band fest at Dallas High School on April 30th did you?

No. We had a marching band competition there though.
