As summer comes to a close, amuesment parks also begin to close. Some may reopen for Halloween or Christmas, but for the most part, some people (like me) have already stopped their summer coaster riding.

How was your season? I usually hit just Hershey and one other new park, but this year I've revisited parks including Knoebels, DP, BGW and HP, and have visted for the first time SFGADv. I usually don't get to get out to parks much, so this season has been great. I'm also planning on visiting DP and BGW again for Halloween, HP for Halloween and Christmas, and then KW on the 13th of September.

I had a good season. I visited 5 parks that I've never been to before: DP, HP, GAdv, PCW and ML. I'll also be going to Holiday World and Kentucky Kingdom or SFA for Labor Day weekend, and maybe a few more times to WoA(it gets boring after a few visits).

im not done yet!

so far ive had an awesome season. went to coaster con, coaster madness, ace day at moreys piers and im going to be heading to coaster celebration and PPP.

ive visited PKD, BGW, SFA, SFNE, SFGAdv, LC, DP, MP and will be hitting up knoebels, lakemont, funtown pier and SFGAdv many more times. new to me this year was PKD, SFNE, LC, MP, knoebels, lakemont and funtown pier so ive added (or will add) many new coasters to my list. im at 98 right now so with those new parks, i should be at or near 105 by the end of the season.

and im already planning next year. so far we are going to coaster con again at CP and SFWoA, im getting my season pass to SFGAdv renewed and will probably be hitting up a new six flags park and maybe PC on our yearly trip to myrtle beach. i would really love to get down to IOA and BGT but we might go overseas next year so that would me some international parks.

Next year I hope to go to: Europa Park, WBMW Germany, Holiday Park, Heide Park and Mirabilandia. That, or the California parks. Next year I'll be going to WoA, CP, PKI, DL, for sure.

This year hasn't been real great for me. I went to Hersheypark 5 times (will probably go a few more times yet this year). Besides that, I only went to Kennywood, and Family Kingdom (both new for me). I'd love to go to SFGAdv in September for Coaster Celebration, but I'm not so sure that's gonna happen this year.

But next year might be my best coaster year in my life. Besides of course Hersheypark, I'm going on a 3-park trip (SFWoA-to-Cedar Point-to-Kennywood) in June... and I might try to squeeze Lakemont into that trip. Though those are the only definites, I have quite a "maybe" list-
-BGW (springtime)
-Dorney (coaster madness)
-SFGAdv (coaster celebration
-PCarowinds (like bb, I might go there during my Myrtle Beach trip)
-A Florida trip (IOA, BGT, Sea World, MGM, maybe more)
-An Australia trip (a BIG "maybe")

I've had a really great season. I only went to two parks, but one of them, Six Flags St. Louis, I had never been to, and the other, Six Flags Great America, I hadn't been to in 4-5 years! It's my home park, so I went there twice. I got to ride my first hyper (Raging Bull), my first flying (Superman: Ultimate Flight), and my first stand-up (Iron Wolf)!

Lets see:
Busch Gardens 3 times: 10/10
Six Flags America in May: 7/10 (rain, long lines)
Mall of America #1: 9/10
Valleyfair: 10/10
Mall of America #2: 7/10 (it was raining that day, so everyone flocks to the indoor park)
Kings Domiinion: 6/10 (So many things went wrong)
Six Flags America TODAY: 8/10 (hot and rainy weather)

I might make it to SFA one more time. I have a season pass. BTW, Hersheypark during Christmas is really lame if you like roller coasters, cause none are open (at least none were last year)

My season was ok...the main highlight go to Cedar Point for the annual band trip and adding a nice 11 coasters to my track record...then went to Hershey as I will till i graduate and then to the Great Escape whilst on a camping trip...i rode....hhmm...17 new coasters this year..i guess that's pretty good...i'm proud ...i still have to go back to Knoebels and Dorney in the next millenium though...maybe when i can drive so i can by myself the whole 2.5 hrs. to Knoebels and the whole 1.5 hours to Dorney...so close they are yet haven't have there in years...

Yeah, I know what you mean. SFA is only 2 hours from me and I haven't visited. I'm not really in a rush to either.

My season has benn more awesome than usual.... I went to Orlando in April for Spring Break and went to Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and MGM Studios. Then I went to my home park, PKI. After that I visited SF Great America for the first time ever and thought it was the collest SF park ever then wentm to PKI 3 more times and miught go again. Next year I am going to SFMM, KBF, Belmont Park, Pacific Park, PKI and CP so I am sure next season will be awesome too!

My season was like dog puke. At least I got to go to Coney Island, that was the defining moment. Other than that...

Easy to sum up the park for you, great rides, lousy park operations. Worth one visit though. Go early in the season to avoid long lines.

My family and I went to Orlando in February, so we only went to one theme park over the summer, which was Cedar Point. Of course, I made a trip to my hometown park, Seabreeze with friends.

Good summer
Dorney Park once
CP for three days
Cyclone at Coney Island (a must every year)
SFGA - 5 times (three times in bad weather with no lines)
SFNE was (rainy and no lines)
SFoG - just got back (truncated trip was also supposed to do IOA and PKD)

already planning for next year. I have tickets to the NCAA Final 4 in San Antonio, so I'll probably go to SF Fiesta Saturday afternoon and take Southwest to Dallas or Houston for one day on Sunday if they are open.

to SMK - when you do that three park trip you should try to squeeze PKI in if you haven't been recently

to PKI Fan - I see the dilemma, I still need to get out to LA myself. If you do SFGA and SFNE you should definitely try to squeeze in the Cyclone as you pay by the ride
