I see that all of you have your mixed opinions, and that's great. As long as none of you hate me for this, I guess i'm a CF fanboy with a few bad SF experiences under my belt. I think that once I do go to SFGAm and SFGAd, I will have a better respect for SF. From what anyone can decifer from doing research, SF has a variant mess of themes. The SFMM and SFMW felt like theme parks that relly just wanted to be ride parks, and nothing else. SFKK was not a great experience, but good. It's like a carnival that has, and is, making its best attempts at being an anusement park. SFOG has good themeing and you all bring up good points about Georgia Cyclone and Ninja, but I'm still not completely convined.

For now, I'm sticking going to stick to my guns, by supporting and defending CF in any way I can. If I had any REALL reason to dislike any theme/amusement park of any kind, then I wouldn't be the obsesive coaster lover I am.

SFMM is still the worst park I've ever been to, but some of the goodness of their rides are difficult to ignore. With the removal of Flashback and Psyclone, I see extremely good things in the future for this park. In time, I look forward to not hating SFMM any more.

Cedar Fair parks lack theming for the most part. Six Flags parks have some theming. Old Paramount parks had alot of theming before Cedar Fair bought them. If you want to see a theme park go to Disney World or Universal and compare them to the amusement parks today there is no comparison. This is my opinion.

Uh, what do you mean? I was agreeing with and congratulating you on a good post. You should know about agreeing with a previous poster...after all, you have done plenty of it yourself.

As for the support for my arguments (did I make any in that post you quoted?), see my last post just before Scott's.

Please don't go out and do anything foolish but when I first looked at the screen name I though you were Axman. Sorry for the confusion.

I do have dislikes for SFI and I'm wiling to voice them. But I don't think that every aspect of the parks are bad. and I think some of the parks like SFOG are quit good.

SFOG is the best SF park I've been to, so far. Much better than KK and MW. MM has better coaster for the most part, but the rest of the park is just atrociuos.

Ah, well, that is understandable. My apologies as well for snapping back at your response.

I can Understand That explanation MM dose seem to be lacking in other rides areas. But they do seem to have a good amount of trees and some landscaping.

What was wrong with KK and MW. Keep in mind KK was started by a small park company that now owned Magic Springs. The park is managed by sfi not owned.

I don't think that is what mrc was saying - I think he was just asking you more specifically why you thought MW and KK were especially inferior to SFOG. You seemed to have a strong opinion on the matter, but didn't really elaborate much.

it really doesn't need much elaboration even mrc knows why SFoG is superior. it's one thing to asks someone to back up a statement that is out of the norm, but it is pretty anonymous that SFoG is one of the better all around SF parks. mrc has even said that before

Larry's got the idea. I'm more curious to hes reason why those two parks were bad. I haven't been to them so anything I can learn is good.

well I can tell you why SFKK is bad.

Dirty - the park is dirty
Customer Service - not rude, but unattentive from what I remember.
Operations - slow
Coaster Quality - besides Thunder Run and Chang there was nothing i wanted to reride
Flats - nothing unique or thrilling
there is also generally lack of shade at the park.
Food - I thought my meal was expensive but a little above average. I think the name of the place was SwampWater Jacks or something like that. I have heard others say they don't even like that place to eat.

I agree with a lot of what Larry said though I do like the twisted twins also. Only part of the park I thought was pretty was back by Blizzard River. Food was poor on my visits. That being said I would still rank it much higher then VF.

I didn't like the restraints on Twisted Twins, very painful on my knees. I was in too much pain to enjoy

^Yes TT's Gerstlauer trains are quite rough around the appendages.

I've only been to KK, MM, Mw, and OG, so, as you can see, I haven't checked out all of the best parks in the chain. KK and MW both have a lot of flat rides, but only half of them operate. Neither of the parks have a decent inverted coaster, on only 1-2 good re-rides. Even the best rides in each park have some seroius drawbacks.

Well...

I haven't been to MM in 6 years, KK in 4 years, OG in 4 years, and MW in about 5. I guess it's been a while.

Ya I'd say so. i I used that time from for SFNE It would be one of the worst parks I have ever been to. but in the last couple of years they have started turning things around. even wit the last owners they had mad allot of improvements but there new management staff helped out a lot with that.

For parks like SFMM, in order for them to be successful, they need to do all the little things that'll bring guests back. Obviously, they've got more than enough rides for thrillseekers & coaster enthusiasts, but if they want to head towards the right path, they need to install more flats for families & work on the whole employment thing by having employees who'll make guests feel welcome. They've also got to clean the park more.

^ On the money. SFMM needs all of those things, and more. The removal of Flashback and Psyclone (both of which I've ridden) is the first of hundreds of big and little steps to a perfect themepark.

Psyclone is a sh1tpile, and Flashback is one big design flaw. It would have been nice if these rides could have been salvaged with a little paint, and some new trains, but at least now they won't be around to suck anymore.

They should have replaced the wood on psyclone and fix up flashback. Im most likely going to get bashed for the folling but why dont they take out deja vu? I mean its almost never open. Unless they fixed it up so that it was open more than 5 days a year ( thats what i have herd). I mean look at booerang and vertigo they are always open. I don't know who is responsable for it always being cloased but they need to fix it or else it wil be the next flashback, Its just sitting there.

Public Service Announcement:

Thousands of horses are beaten to death every year, by people who don't realize they are already dead. Please do your part to stop this horrific torture. Is it .25 cents a day to solve this problem, just a cup of coffee you ask, or even a message from Sally Struthers. NO!. Its much easier you can stop this tradegy, by just not saying the same things over and over.

Thank you for your time.

Nice Spam

You know I come up with an attempt at a clever comeback. I don't really say anything offensive and IMO talking about this after the decision has been made is stupid. Yet you still whine a little. Maybe you are a little to sensitive for a "critc" site. Maybe you should go to www.superhappycffanboy.com

^^ One of the lamest comebacks ever.

Axman, there is no way that you can complain about being called out for obvious posts and worthless spamming. Over the past couple of days, you have posted very few responses of any substance, and are therefore entirely open for a little calling out. Just admit that you have been repetetive and annoying and move on.

I have been repetative. Annyoying is a bit much. B&MRULES is annoying.(no offence)

The only reason I haven't posted a comment with substance, is beacuse everything has been talked about already. I tride to bring up the removal of Flashback, but I got shot down because I was "beating a dead horse".

Cut me a little slack here, guys.
