Which park has your favorite line up this is only about the coasters though, not service or anything else.

For an extra small park, Lakemont was nice.

For a Small park, I like Lake Compounce.

For a Mid sized park I think SFNE is really good, could use a full circuit sit down looper though.

For a Large park, SFOG is really nice

For a Thrill park, Cedar Point or SFGAV

For a Family Park, WDW and WDL obviously.

B&M did not invent the inverted coaster, they took a suspended coaster idea and made it not swing.

Prefabricated Track is for losers.

Hershey and Busch Gardens Tampa. with the addition of a wood coaster Alton Towers would have it, easily for me.

based solely on coasters

Small Park - Knoebels
Mid-Size - SFAmerica
Large - I'll give SFGAdv the edge because of El Toro

Family Park - Holiday World

now I'm waiting for the fights to start regarding which parks fit into which categories

Thanks for bringing me into this conversation Animan1, considering that I've listed only 7 amusement parks & I've been to 5 out of the 7 parks listed. Personally, I think that there are a lot of parks with great coaster lineups, but the parks I stated have one of the more well-rounded lineups around.

You are quite welcome. The instructions at the beginning actually asked for which "park" had the best coaster lineup. Now, the thread creator then proceeded to rattle off a list of his own (as taylor pointed out), albeit in a categorical form. That trend has continued throughout the thread, as coaster05 listed 3 parks, taylor 2, myself 3, etc.

I wasn't trying to get on your case when I brought you up in my comment...I was simply pointing out the irony that B&M was in no way the only one that has posted a hefty list of parks, yet he was the one getting called out.

And I know it didn't specify this in the original post, but I only considered parks that I have been to, as did coaster05 and taylor, I believe. Just didn't seem right to me to consider those parks that I thought looked like they had a good lineup.

I really only listed two since Alton was a disclaimor. For 1 it would be Hershey.

When I first saw GL on RCDB it looked so great. Three woods, one of the most highly rated floorlesses in the world, and an Arrow sit down (one of my soft spots). Then I read reviews and found that it was not a park worth stopping at on your way to Cedar Point, even though I want to hit RWB because it's time could be limited and from what people are saying about it, it sounds like my kind of coaster.

--------------------
Wild Cat(LC)2006 Ride Count= 151

B&M is so over rated all they did was steal the suspended coaster idea from Arrow and put a few loops in it.

Prefabricated Track is for people who can't handle a real wooden coaster.

Is that even English?

GL coaster line up is good and is still fine, just because they have removed two does not mean they are going to lose RWB anytime soon. It just got reworked.

Points taken, and I really wasn't trying to fault you guys for putting down multiple coasters. I was just using you (and myself) as examples.

If I had to pick just one park, it would be SFGAm, though that might have been pretty clear in my original post.

Oh I know, I ment there could be no GL at all in a few years if things keep going this way.

GL is not going anywhere. they have spent too much money and Cleveland is too large of a city. they are just removing high dollar rides in maintenance terms so they can be profitable at their current attendance level. The loss of those rides is going to have no impact on their upcoming year.
