I'll be going to Dorney Park for the first time sometime in the next few weekends... Any suggestions? I'm very excited!

Since you'll be going during the Halloween time, you won't have to worry so much about the long lines there. In fact, I think that every coaster there, including Steel Force, will only have a waiting time up to fifteen minutes at the longest. Make sure that you'll at least hit Steel Force, Talon: Grip of Fear, & Hydra: the Revenge while you're there. They're all great steel coasters & I know that you'll have a great time with all of the coasters. Other than that, there's nothing else to say except that I hope that you'll have a lot of fun & you'll grow to love Dorney Park just like I do.

Thanks for all the info!

I was expecting that the lines would be longer than the regular season's.

Also, I hope to have luck with Talon... I don't want to be a non-inverted coaster person, I hope that I just didn't like Great Bear.

Does anyone know if they're still having the sale where if you buy a certain item or pay a certain amount of money you get a discounted shirt? I love those vintage mugs, especially the Jet Star one (Schwarzkopf enthusiast for ya... can't wait to try Laser!), but I also want a t-shirt to add to my collection.

You will be waiting for the mad mouse. It had by far the longest line of the day. The Haunted Houses also suck hard. However most their coasters were pretty good.

Your right it is like ERT only without the morons from your TPR tour bus cutting you in line.

Really? That's awesome! We'll probably be going next weekend, the one after possibly.

Well, now that I've heard that I'm much happier. I thought that I might not be able to go on much. And also, one thing that I don't like about long lines is that it holds my family up, going by myself on roller coasters. But now I won't have to worry so much.

Also, I read on the website that limited rides are open. Are a lot of them closed? Or just a few?

UPDATE I just realized that I can't go on Little Laser! Think I could pretend I was, say, 8 inches shorter? Are they strict on those kinds of things, have any of you made it onto the Little Laser?

YET ANOTHER UPDATE: THEY DON'T LET ANYONE OVER 48" GO ON THE WILD MOUSE!?!

Did you read my post where it says the mouse line is long. Wouldn't I have had to have been on it to know about the line. I have no idea where you got that, but here is an idea. Go to the park, have fun, and stop worrying. It's a park not open heart surgery.

No, but it confused me... The trip planning thing that has the little checkboard of who can go on what... Well it says "42-48"". And also, I like to do some research before I go to a park. It comforts me somehow...

Dorney is a nice park with some good coasters. If you are going there for some haunted house, they suck. I was there last weekend and had a great time. The lines were short and it was a nice day. I just wish their haunted house were better.

No, I'm not a big haunted house person. Even with them being there, I'll probably end up not going on them.

Ah, I see. I was actually kind of expecting that although I don't know much about how Dorney/Cedar Fair run their rides.
