Not great, but compared to the other rides at Astroworld, its one Id ride again (unfortunately, thats due to the fact that theres hardly anything else worth riding twice at Astoworld). Its good points are that its smooth and fast. On the other hand, its not exactly thrilling, looks like its about ready to fall down, and can bang your head around quite a bit (my 56" girlfriend stepped off with painful, glowing red ears).
How can you not love this coaster?
This has been an awesome ride ridden it since i was 6! it also made a difference w/o the coffin cars and u could actually see who sat in front of u!
cool that it had no headrests but i mean the ride was ok but texas giant is way better and faster.
This cyclone is the my least favorite at all of them. It is good, but nothing great. In fact, I wouldnt even put it on my top 25 list of woods.
This is a pretty good coaster
Awesome wooden coaster! It was the best in the park- it had high speed drops, twisting turns and the feeling that the structure may colapse any minute- a good wooden coaster! With the parks closing imminent, I hope this ride gets salvaged. Not only is it a rare Bill Cobb design, it was the first attempt to emulate the wild ride that the Coney Island Cyclone delivers, and probably the best job even in the days where there are quite a few Cy-clones. The airtime was great and the ride wasnt terribly rough but still gave you that whole "whos the boss" feeling. This ride is great and still in the upper tier of my woodies.
My first and favorite woodie! Not to mention surprisingly smooth.
Another great coaster! This ride was a lot of fun. I liked this one better than the Rattler at SFFT. This was a lot faster and had a lot of good drops. This is my favorite wooden coaster.
