The Comet was my very first roller coaster ride and at the age 4, I remember thinking it was very rough. I am sorry to say so, but the last time I rode it I wasnt very impressed with it. I didnt get any airtime, which for me is a big disappointment on a bunny-hilled woodie. I do like the ride, especially that bunny hill run surrounded by trees! And at Christmas time, I always look at the top of the lift hill for the Santa, reindeer, and Rudolfs red nose display! Yep, it just wouldnt be Hersheypark without the Comet!

I rode this at night right after alot of rain, s I think that I rode this ride at its best. The first drop was much better than expected and the rest of the ride offered a decent amount of air. It also had great duration. It seemed alot longer than it was. I was pretty pleased when I got off.

This ride has held up very well. I was surprised at how good it was.

I thought this ride was awesome I think im not sure though but i think this was my first wodden coasters it is one of my favorite wooden coasters.

This was my first ever roller coaster--I went on it at the age of 5. Since I was so young i did not learn to appreciate airtime, so the Comet kinda turned me off woodies for a while. After going on it a second time a few years later, I learned to like this roller coaster better, even though i would always pick a steel coaster over a woodie. This coaster is kinda old and rickety, but i liked the bunny hops at the end. Its not one Ill remember my whole life but it was a good coaster all the same.

My recent trip to HP changed my view on this ride. I let my seat belt loose and the air time was insane. This is the best woodie in the park.

only a couple of spots with a "little" bit of air but only if youre in the middle or back. Absolutely no air in the first car. No lateral Gs to speak of, it never had me scared. But best thing about are the squeaky cars that seems to breathe with the ride

Sorry Comet fans, I wasnt overly impressed. For some reason I found no life in this coaster. Has a pretty good layout with lots of potential but didnt seem to have much kick. Yes, the first drop was cool but the rest of the ride seemed dead. Maybe it was those trims that were mentioned a few reviews back.
