A good classic woodie. Originally named the "Giant Coaster," it once resided at the now defunct Paragon Park at Nantasket Beach, Massachusetts, where it was ranked amoung the top 10 roller coasters in the country in the late 70s. The relocator only paid $25,000 for it at auction, and then moved it to Largo, Maryland at a cost to the park of only $1.5 million, saving the park over $3 million compared to the cost of a new woodie. The final helix was rebuilt then from the original plans. The original helix had been removed at Paragon Park because of fire damage.
