Review of Jack Rabbit @ Seabreeze Amusement Park

Its an old (around 75), well maintained, mid-size woodie in a clean, well kept park. While it wont excite the thrillseekers, its still a fun ride. The modern fiberglass cars and their lap bars probably take away part of the feel of the original rolling stock. The ride ends in a helix into a tunnel, then does a dip in complete darkness and a head chopping bunny hop into the station. Makes you wonder why modern designers havent emulated a typical Miller good ending.

i rode this ride last summer for the first time. it was my first time even going on a rollercoaster. this ride is AWESOME. its wooden, and its gotten stuck a few times, but hey. its like the 3rd oldest coaster in the US. kinda makes you not want to go on...but its great fun.

Take a trip down to Kennywood in Pittsburgh and you can ride 3 more woodies originally designed by John Miller (Actually, only part of the T-bolt is his). You will be amazed at his work. On the way, you can detour to Conneaut Lake and visit their park. Its similar to Sea Breeze - small, well kept, relaxing and fun.
