Top Gun is a Vekoma SLC. It is probably the best themed SLC out there, complete with fighter jets, turning radar signals, runway lights on the side of the ques, and control towers. It really is cool, and adds to the ride alot. The ride itself is not too bad. Most people know that SLCs can be rough. Some worse than others. PCWs Top Gun is not all that bad. There is somehead banging, but the first drop is really nice and intense. Nothing like a B&M though. I give it a 7 because of the theming added to the ride. If you visit PCW, definately give it a try.
