Review of Twist & Shout @ Canobie Lake Park
0 Rating Posted by: Princess on 9/27/2007 5:06:00 PM
I havent been on Canobies tilt-a-whirl since it was repainted and renamed, but I rode it various times a few years ago. Twist & Shout has a very sleek appearance as all of the cars are multicolred and uniquely colored. The ride looks amazing. The only problem really with the ride is the lines. All tilt-a-whirls have bad capacities and this one is no different. Usually Twist & Shout has a 20-30 minute wait, which is too long of a wait for a tilt-a-whirl in my opinion. Now like I said I havent been on this in quite a few years and from these reviews it certainly sounds that Canobies tilt-a-whirl improved. When I rode it, the Tilt-a-Whirl gave a decent cycle (Ive had better) and the spinning was just average. Ill try to ride Twist & Shout next time I go to Canobie. The only downside to Twist & Shout is the lengthy wait.

Well I hope you get the chance and then adjust accordingly. The cycle is on par with that of tilt-a-whirl in parks. rarely to i see any run longer.

While I havent been to Quassy. Story land dose tend to run theirs a bit longer especially if they stop and check on a rider. Palace ran it for the same 1.5-1.75 minutes that Canobie ran theres all my rides this year. but Eadaville, Whalom, Funtown, and others have that same 1.5 minute rides.
