Although when I first heard about Griffon I was very excited, I went in with low expectations. It seemed like a fun ride with a cool effect but it also looked too short to be anything all that special. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally rode it this past week. Hanging off the edge before the initial drop was more suspenseful then I had assumed. For the drop it really did feel as if you had been dropped with nothing holding you back. The fact that the ride was floorless also had more of an effect then I would have guessed. Sitting on one of the end seats far away from the track with nothing above or below was unlike anything I had ever felt. I was also amazed by how smooth the entire ride was. After riding Griffon 11 times the first day the ride claimed my number two spot at Busch Gardens Europe. An amazing ride and one you shouldn’t miss out on.
