Review of Thunder Run @ Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

The layout on this ride is very interesting, but Six Flags does a terrible job maintaining it. The train jerks around a lot, and not in a good way. With a little work (fat chance) this would be a great ride.

I dont see where this ride jerks around any more than, say, the Legend. Id actually say SFKK does a great job with their wood, Thunder Run does well and considering it has G-trains, Twisted Sisters is pretty darn decent.

That wasnt my experience. Thunder Run did quite a bit of shuffling when I rode it. My first ride on the Legend was rough, but subsequent rides (at least 10 of them) were not. I ride in the front most of the time. One of the Twisted Twins ran ok, and the other didnt.

I have been on this ride a couple of times and didnt think it was jerky at all. Maybe you just had a bad ride. I dont know, but thunder run is the second best coaster at SFKK.

On all three of my visits to SFKK, one of my least favorite parks, I have never had a bad ride on this. I will see again in April as I have to go get my pass.
