El Toro is the best coaster I have ever been on, hands down. I have ridden this coaster twice in the back seat and Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England is the only ride that can even come close to the sensation of that seat. The cable lift is awesome effect, I can only really compare it to the launch on Incredible Hulk, yes its slower, but the effect is equally terrifying, because of what lies ahead. The train circles the top, offering great views, before hitting the drop. This drop is more than a little ridiculous, beating even the effect of the 420 vertical drop on Kingda Ka. The ride then shoots under a head chopper before screaming up the second hill. The airtime on this hill, even with the tight restraints, held me off the seat until almost the valley at the bottom before the next hill. The third hill and turnaround are equally exciting. There are a few speed hills which keep the airtime going before the awesome drop of Rolling Thunder, into the twister section. This hill comes as a surprise with the effect of being pulled over and then flying down. The train then winds around the twister section at great speed before finally hitting the brakes. This ride is basically spot on perfect, I would be shocked to not find this ride on the top of many "best coaster" lists for many years to come.
