Review of Hellcat (Tsunami/J2) @ Clementon Amusement Park

a very nice little coaster. it is still running fast and wild. Although expect a much faster ride with a full train. I prefered the last car over the front/middle cars. Much more intense in the back. FYI - minimum height requirement for the ride is 50", but 54" for the last car.

Good floater air on the first drop and ejector air at the apex of the second hill. The clockwise helix is fast and furious with heavily overbanked turns. There is a great transition out of the helix with and overbanked right leaning turn the smoothly whips you into a left overbanked turn.

Although fast it never felt completely out of control. It tosses you around but in a not so painful way. Another example of a woodie that you further appreciate the more you ride it.

It was stated over the off season that after the Tsunami that devesatated ShriLanka and India, in the name of political correctness, the name of this coaster was being changed from Tsunami to J2 (Jackrabbit 2). The listing here makes no mention of that, nor does your review. Was the name change only a rumor? Or has this coaster actually been renamed

The name has been changed to J2 and the request was made for Shortcake to change it. I didnt mention it in my review because I dont consider it a factor. FYI - Jackrabbit is still sitting there, SBNO.

In a related development, Clementons Huss Topspin, formerly known as "Marburg Virus," has recently been rechristened "World Peace."

LOL, too bad I didnt catch that a while back. That is pretty good, but they dont have a Topspin, that was their double inverter that was named "Marburg Virus". Get your facts straight there Timberman LOL Anyway, nice review. I found the front few seats to be not so great also. I prefered the back seats, but, the front was still wild. The only part that I didnt like the front was on the first two drops because it did not deliver any air on them at all - very very little. The rest of the ride was wild in all seats that I tried though. The park was pretty dead so believe me I tried out as many as I could. Of course though, I had to take a few breaks and hit up gentle rides because the ride was giving me a little bit of a whoopin, but that is what I like. Like you said though, it was a tolerable whoopin.
