Review of Le Scoot @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I think that Lin48 a few reviews down expressed my opinion more conscisely than I will be able to. Le Scoot starts off with a monsterous compared to most other flumes, only to fizzle out in my opinion. The turns were really, really high, which was kind of cool for the "am I going to plummet to my death?" kind of feeling. But, all it had was a couple of turns, a pair of little dips, and then the final drop. The final drop was quite a rush, with major height and speed, but it didnt get me soaked, or even wet really. While that holds true for a lot of old Arrow log flumes, and Im not a big fan of getting drenched, especially since it was about 60 degrees outside, but a good soaking is essential to a successful log flume, so only the decent themeing, height, speed and setting help this to acquire a six as opposed to a four or five. Still fun, but I wouldnt wait more than 10-15 minutes for it.

its hard to get soaked on ay log flume. I personaly dislike Arrow flums thay all seem to be missing something. I prefer the Hopkins Water rides more. Nice review by the way.

Ripsaw Falls drenched me from head to toe, so maybe I am expecting too much. Even at that, Le Scoot was average at best.

Well, theres a bit of an age difference between Dudley and Le Scoot. I enjoyed this ride.

I agree the fluem is basic what makes up for it is the themeing.

I personally dont enjoy this flume all that much. It seems pretty short compared to some of the other Arrow flumes from that era. The big drop is pretty good though.

I havnt been to any other Arrow flums in thatarea. but hear in New England the Arrow flumes are the shortist of all the flumes.

I meant most of the Arrow log flumes from the 1970s-era are longer than this one.

Yes, most involve more than one good drop, and a longer course. The one at Magic Mountain actually had two big drops, which was cool, and you got fairly wet. Le Scoot had only one drop more than 5 feet.

I guess they had more room. who knows why they have it the way they did.
