Wicked Twister is a great impulse but first, I must say, unlike a lot of other people, I dont think its better than Steel Venom/TCFKA Superman: Ultimate Escape (Geauga Lake/SFWoA) which just happens to be the only other impulse Ive experienced. The only difference is that...and mostly everyone is aware of this...Steel Venom/TCFKA S:UE has a vertical spike on the backward run vs. Wicked Twisters twisted spike. I think the extreme free-fall sensation beat it out. That was intense and truly was nerve-racking. WTs backward incline is more fun than anything. Thats just me, though. Anyway, focusing on Wicked Twister, the launch is, not surprisingly, powerful and you can feel the LIMs propelling and moving the train every time you journey back through the station. Its an exciting experience thats fun mixed in with a touch of intimidation and a bit of scariness. Going up the backward spike at top speed is probably the climax of the scariness and is extremely disorientating. Heavy laterals push on your body and whip you around the twist. The forward spike is great but the backward spike is definitly the best part of Wicked Twister and sets it apart from its sisters that have the vertical incline. Its an excellent thrill that it would do good not to miss and, becausde of that and its short ride time (one of the rides obvious cons), should be experienced more than once. Dont wait too long for it though: Its good but its, of course, no MF, Magnum, Raptor or Mantis. Still WT should be on you list as one to ride at Cedar Point
