This ride now comfortably fills a dubious spot on my coaster count. Due to my strange, inexplicable connection to Iron Wolf, I can honestly say that Mantis is the worst stand-up that I have been on...and indeed, the worst B&M coaster period. Painfully rough throughout the ride, this coaster also gets the CF treatment of trims on the first drop (although maybe that'.s a good thing here?). I have to give props to the location (being over the water for much of the ride is pretty cool), and it still looks like it should provide a nice ride, but unfortunately, the experience that it dishes out just doesn'.t meet those expectations.
