I became a coaster fan because of this great ride - so I might be a little biased. However, Ill say that it combines speed, layout, violence and sheer creativity, producing a coaster thats downright artistic in every way. That second chain lift and helix drop is a doozie - but my favorite part is: when youre heading for the second lift, the track veers suddenly to the right twice at high speed, and the effect is incredible. A little tip - the #3 train is the one to ride, if you have the opportunity - I spoke with a maintenance worker there years ago, and he let me in on the fact that that trains chassis is much heavier than the others, creating a faster, stronger ride. And its true - youll notice that it takes that train much, much longer to ascend the chain lifts, and the speed is awesome. Sorry to be long-winded, but I figured it would help yall out! And need I say - try to ride the Beast on a hot evening, right after the rain. Grease is released on the tracks from the heat and moisture, and if its dark, oh, hot diggity.
