I like woodies, and I really wanted to like this coaster. It is visually stunning, a massive coaster that must have taken a small forest to construct. With a one hundred and sixty foot first drop, Mean Streak isnt far from being a hyper woodie. But the ride was just too rough and too painful to be enjoyable. ( And in case anyone thinks Im a coaster wimp for saying so my favorite ride for a long time was the Riverside/SFNE Cyclone before the retracking, with the Morgan trains. In the back seat, no less!) Mean Streal felt like forty miles of potholes ridden in a car with square wheels. There was no air time whatsoever and the train seemed to struggle to acend the second and third hills. I had a violent headache when I got off the ride.
