Wicked Twister was the first impulse coaster I had ever ridden, and wow, what an awesome ride it is! Others have mentioned how it didnt seem to be running at full power, and I think Id have to agree from my first few rides on it. But, that didnt even really matter. Whats more, this coaster has gotten better every year and I no longer can claim that it doesnt provide enough power - this thing flat out rocks! The launch is one of the coolest feelings in the world, as you just get thrown back in your seat (ooohhhh yeah!) The height of WT is surprising, and the twists are excellent! The backward twists are insane and very disorienting, but in a good way! Best seats gotta be the back, the backward twist from there is unreal! Plus, the location of Wicked Twister right along the lake/beach with those bright colors is perfect. Cedar Point proves yet again that they can take a good ride concept (the traditional impulse with only 1 twisting tower), and totally blow it away!! By far the most pleasant surprise of my CP trip. Marvelous coaster that dishes out tons of fun and high octane thrills, and quite frankly I think it is the most overlooked and underrated coaster at Cedar Point.
