Opening year? A solid 8, maybe a 9. With the brakes, its YAFBM (Yet another Forceless B&M).

1. It doesnt hit 3.7g anymore, more like 3.2. Most of the ride really is quite gentle. When I say forceless I dont nessesarily mean absolute G forces. What I really mean is changes of direction. Is the ride snappy? Alpengiest definatly isnt.

Not really. Its a subpar inverted. And its not even straight track as such. I dislike coasters with large inversions.

While I agree that some of the newer B&Ms are forceless (cough Dueling Dragons, every floorless, S:UF cough), Alpengeist is far from a foreceless coaster. I dont really know what Tyler is talking about.
