1. The water was terribly nasty.
2. Simple layout (but what do you expect its made to get people wet)
3. It wasnt exactly warm when my dad was making fun of me because I was chicken. but in the end my dad kept saying he was clod. I was like whose sorry now!
4. Great drenching splash!!!
This was an excellent boat flume ride in all respects except for one. There was barely a wait, the lift hill moved rapidly, the drop was fun, and the splash was enormous, providing a complete and thorough drenching. The splash itself was wet enough, but then it sort of rebounded off of the bridge and kept cascading down on the boat. So what was the problem? Well, I can say that Ive never before seen water so brown in a theme park ride. And I mean brown. I have to assume this was the color that Elitch Gardens chose to dye the water, as I refuse to believe it could really be that dirty. Just in case, though, I kept my mouth shut tight during the entire splash, and that proved challenging due to the duration of the soaking. Practice holding your breath before riding Shipwreck Falls!
Hmm. You are in a boat. It goes up, and then it goes down. The end. I think the boat should sink occasionally. This one is built more for the audience than for participants. The spray is nice to watch from across the Platte at the playground by the Childrens Museum, while the children pick dandelions. La la la.
Yawn. A typical boat ride with a huge splash at the end. Crossing over the bridge sucks. They have the exact same ride at almost every park across the country. Skip this unless its hot.
Pretty boring ride with just one drop. However, you do get absolutely drenched which is good on a hot day.
its an alright boat ride with a great drop and splash but definetly not the best
There is no point to this ride. It just goes down and the water looks like it comes from the sewar. Still kinda fun.
This ride is very boring. Its good if you want to get wet though
