great B&M creation, even though all B&Ms creations are awesome ( or at least that ive ridden)the first loop is great, and the first loop is pretty cool. Great Ride!

I liked medusa better too. Its more thrilling, and i like the design a lot more than nitros.

Sorry Nitro is a better ride. Medusa is a good ride, but it is simply overated. Inverted coasters are MUCH better than floorless. And I find very little difference between the cars on Medusa and the Hulk. All they did was cut out the floor below you on Medusa which doesnt do that much. On both rides your feet hang anyway. I find floorless coasters not as inovative as people think they are.

I have never ridden AC so I cant compare Nitro to AC, but I know that Nitro is an AMAZING RIDE. My favorite part of Nitro are the bunny hills at the end. They give an amazing amount of air time. Back to Medusa...you only see the safari at the top of the lift hill. The land Medusa is placed on is very plain and boring. This is not to Nitro has an amazing view, but it is certainly better than Medusas. I also have no beef with Medusa being out of the way...look at Dueling Dragons...

Numbers dont mean anything. 7 inversions is great and all, but its drop is average and it doesnt have a "good" diving loop like Kraken. Dont get me wrong, this IS one of my favorite looping coasters, but I dont put it in the same league as lets say The Hulk or Kraken. Back to Nitro...I dont remember Nitro dropping into the water. I dont think it does, but correct me if Im remembering wrong. I dont agree with you on the "slowing down" part. I love the last 30 seconds of Nitro. It is the best part of the ride....

i could be thinking of the last part, but i thought the drop went into the lake or river (what ever it is). the camel backs are great at the end but the first part seemed to be slower than what i thought it should have been at the tops of the hills (first turn, hammer head) the helix was great though-- i couldnt even keep my hands up because of the gs. as for medusa, i didnt think the diving loop was that bad. i always find a diving loop on inverted better though.

Yea the gs on the helix make me see black spots every time I ride Nitro. I can agree with you about diving loops being better on inverts, but I have to make an exception with Kraken. Krakens diving loop is on par with Montus. Medusas is not even close to the intensity of both those rides. Its diving loop is fun, but its not intense and thats what makes the difference...

Nitro is totally original. There is nothing like it anywhere. Medusa other rides than extremely similar. Medusa SFMW AND Kraken. Nitro has drops, Medusa has inversions. Drop in a roller coaster are always better than inversions.
