Review of Flying Eagles @ Kings Dominion

These flyers have a gorgeous paint job. They may not be "classic" flyers, but I am pretty sure they are the newer version built by Premier, the same company to build launch coasters like Jokers Jinx and Poltergeist. They dont seem to react quite the same as other sets, but are effective none-the-less. This is a great ride because it is so variable. If you have a child, you can calm it down, if alone you can go crazy. No ride is ever the same.
(EDIT) After doing some research I found out that the world of flying scooters is a deep and extremely complex world. There is a web-site devoted to the things. Anyway, if I made a mistake in manufacturer (which is probable), I apologize. This does not change my mind though, they are a very fun ride that seem to be hindered by either stops or something else in the connecting ropes.

They are Bisch-Rocco flyers, just like the ones at Carowinds and Knoebels and Fun Spot, among other sets. Larson is actually the company who builds newer installations. Premier is probably in the business of assisting with foundations ofr Flying Skooters rides, much like The Gravity Group has done.

Thats strange. On the Premier Site they have a picture of "flying scooters" and they say they install them, including the ones at Hershey Park. They say they have re-introduced them. Im sure you have seen the site but just in case: www.premier-rides.com That is why I guessed at the manufacturer since the paintjobs are so close.

Holy smokes, man. There is way too much info out there about skooters. I never knew so much was out there. Anyway, most of the info I found made sense but some was condradicted by other info. I guess in the end it doesnt matter, they are just fun rides.

Installing them and designing/building them are two different things. Local contractors are hired to install coasters, but the design firm still gets the credit on rcdb

Lord knows that I dont want to turn this fairly simple thing into a scene but the whole situation has me turned in knots. According to Premier-rides.com they built/designed/installed the sets at PGA and HersheyPark. According to the Flatjoint and Coastercrave, they were installed by Larson International. Why would Premier say that they did? There is nothing about any differences in designing and building or whatever, I am making a mountain out of a molehill, but this whole thing is screwing me up and it pisses me off. I suppose there is no conclusion if the info contradicts itself.

Hersheyparks website and flatrides.com say Larson International installed Hersheys flying skooters. Premier Ridess website doesnt say that they built or installed Hersheyparks flying skooters, they just showed a picture of flying skooters. Larson Internation ended up building Hersheyparks flying skooters.

The ones on the Premier site are the PGA ones, but they are Larson rides. Again, Premier probably helped with the foundation or something, I doubt they build their own, and the KD ones are definately B-R Skooters..

Premier Rides has Paramounts Great America and HersheyPark under "Installations". Again, I dont want this getting out of control, but this is pretty complicated just for a flat ride.

Now I understand, but I dont think Premier Rides should advertise they build Flying Skooters, when they only help build them, and not supplying the ride.
