Well, this ride is a very good ride. It is scary. It has themeing, although kind of minimal. This ride does have those scream-shields, but those are not annoying. This ride is very fun and I love the sound affects that Disney placed onto it. They may be kind of hard to hear, but just listen. This ride is very nerve racking because you are waiting for something to happen and then...BOOM! You are off. My ratings for this ride are, Design - 8, Themeing - 3, Fun Factor - 8, Re-Ride - 5, Scare Factor - 9, Intensity - 8, Originality - 7. The final score is...6.8 or a 7. Thanks For Listening. Those scream sheilds are these glass looking things that Disney placed over the OTSRs to block out the screams of riders. They arent annoying. Go to the Maliboomer page and look closely at some pictures of the cars, youll see them. If you need more explanation, just post. Thanks For Listening. TOGO_Fan

The shields are there so the peeps living around DCA arent disturbed at midnight when the park is open late. They also do this on CA Screamin. (the big tubes)

yeah the shields are kinda cool. Those tubes on screamin are scream shield. (thats why they are placed over drops and such. DCA is in the middle Anihime so they had to block the screams to not disturb the people living there

IOA_Maniac, you like the scream shields. They are so nasty, people spit on them and they dont clean them up cause they are too lazy or dont have the special stuff cause those are 3000 a piece and require special cleaning. But they are nasty and I cant see why you like them. TOGO_Fan
