Info On Deja Vu

SFMM is cranking up the press machine getting eveyone ready for DejaVu and "X". I have to admin both these rides look like they might shine this year.

Six Flags California officials boast that Deja Vu is the worlds tallest and fastest suspended and looping boomerang roller coaster. Deja Vu, Magic Mountains second major addition this year, will launch on Saturday -- just in time for the Labor Day and the late summer thrill-seeking crowd.

Riders, strapped into sleek ski-lift-style chairs suspended from the track above, will be dangled face down out of the station and up a blue tower visible from all over the Santa Clarita Valley.

Then the chairs will drop into a vertical 20-story free-fall before looping around a 102-foot turn followed by a 110-foot butterfly curve. Then, riders will skyrocket up a 200-foot tower on their backs -- and do the entire ride again, backward. Hence, deja vu.
