Bigger Isnt Better?

Well themepark wise it doesnt appear so in some cases. This point seems to be harped on alot, especially this summer with Disneys flat attendance.

"The regional parks this year are doing quite well, and the destination parks are slowing down," said Susie Storey, spokeswoman of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. "They are just not seeing the people they thought they would."

Many analysts predict modest declines in theme-park attendance this year. But no one knows for sure how long the latest downturn is going to last.

It's tough for a family of 4 to shell out close to $170 for admission to a mega park. Last time we did that was at SFoG. We were there all day and only rode 6 rides on a weekday. The value just wasn't there.

kind of like coasters. I prefer wood but steel coasters aren't bad in the least.
