Idora park is coming down piece by piece, the latest was Jack Rabbit a wooden roller coaster at the park which closed in 1984.

While little remained of the legendary Wildcat, which had been heavily damaged by another fire, coaster fans had been trying to save the Jack Rabbit for reconstruction.

Without a buyer, however, owners determined the coaster would not be dismantled, a necessary step in reconstruction

I hate people tearing down coasters. If they are damaged they should either be reconstructed, are preserved.
