A Down Right Travesty!

I knew there was nothing good coming from those sneaky Belgians...
In a move that could make its theme-park division easier to sell, Anheuser-Busch InBev said Monday that it will end the long-standing tradition of free beer tasting at SeaWorld Orlando and its other parks across the country.

The company said it will shutter the popular hospitality centers and "brewmaster clubs" in its SeaWorld and Busch Gardens theme parks starting later this month. Some will be converted into new restaurants, while others will get new, cafe-style menus.
Listen I'm no Bud super fan, but you know what I am a fan of, Free Beer! I'm a fan of baseball and hotdogs! Apple pies and Mom, Fireworks on the 4th of July, Hot Rods and Hot Woman.

I'll tell you what I'm not a fan of... Belgium.

I heard about this. To be honest I saw it happening. The news reported they have also stopped the free cases of beer to their full time employees. some how I don't see that extra 30 dollar value making its way into their pay checks. they also announced 1,400 jobs to be cut. a wonderful thing for our already crappy economy. I'm also worried about the future of the Brewery tours. The tour in Merrimack, NH has been a long time destination. I have used their samples to make future purchasing choices.

I don't drink, but yeah I'm with mrceagle on this one. It was bound to happen with what InBev has been doing.

We could always hope another American brewer buys the parks

ya but Coors Gardens doesn't have the same ring to it. I'm afraid this is likely to be the first wave that will lead to more cut backs.
