On the morning of July 25, my family and I left our Toledo hotel and made the hour long drive to Cedar Point. My mom, dad, and sister were with me on this trip, as they always are when we go to a park.

The forecast for the day was a 30% chance of rain, mostly before 5 p.m. The parks was open from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m., and we got there a little after 9:30. After getting tickets (discounted from coupons in our Getaway Guide) and such, it was a little before 10. To our suprise, they were already allowing guests to get into the park. We made our way to MF first. So far, the day had been almost completely overcast, but no rain.
We got in line for MF and were at the station in about 1 & 1/2 hours. I'll save the ride details to the end and my reviews. Just before we entered the MF station, drops of rain started to fall here and there. Rode MF and headed for TTD, which my dad and I were going to ride, my mom wasn't, and my sister didn't know.
We got to TTD and saw quite a line, but it wasn't moving. We headed up to the actual entrance and there was a sign saying it was closed due to weather (it was now drizzling lightly). We decided to head to Gemini, but it too was closed. We were now wondering if anything would be open?!
Luckily we saw MS running and rode that (15 min. wait), and then CCMR (20 min. wait). Still drizzling, we then headed to Magnum (30 min. wait) which my dad and I rode in the ejector seat (my mom and sister in another car in the train before us). It was now raining harder as we headed to Iron Dragon. Rode Iron Dragon (15 min. wait), planned to ride Wildcat after that, but it is now closed due to weather. Mantis is an 1 1/4 wait, so we skip it for now.
My sister and I then ride Raptor (30 min. wait) while our parents ride Blue Streak, and then they wait while my sister and I ride it (20 min. wait). We then decide to head inside to DT (30-45 min. wait). After DT, we go for dinner at Macaroni's and get a couple of pretty decent pizzas. When we come out, it is clearing up, though still drizzling. My dad and I ride WT (20-30 min. wait) while my mom and sister ride the Giant Wheel. They report that TTD is now running as it has finally stopped raining for a good long while. My sister and I take a quick spin on Cedar Downs (1-cycle wait) and then we head over to TTD. The wait it an unbelieveable 1 1/4 hrs., so my dad, sister and I decide to ride. While we wait, my mom rides Wildcat and Iron Dragon again. After this we all head to Gemini, which is essentially a walk-on. Then back to Wildcat, but a car is now stuck and the ride is temporarily down. The laser show is now less than an hour off, so we resign ourselves to riding Mantis rather than Wildcat. Mantis is about a 3/4 hr. wait. We then did a bit of shopping and headed out.

Overall, despite the weather, it was a great day of riding. Not quite as world-class as I was expecting, but overall I give this park a solid .

Its too bad it was raining for ya, but you still seemed to have a good time. Hopefully if you go again you can stay longer and get some more rides in.
