Yesterday, 8-30-03 I went to SFWoA.It was a good day.The park was not too crowded, and for most of the day, almost everything was a walk on. The workers were also in very good moods.

I got to the park at about 10:15 in the morning. The first thing I decided to do was to take a ride on X Flight. I waited about 15 minutes, and went in the first car. This is a great ride. I found it very comfortable, and I love the flying sensation.

The next thing I did was Superman Ultimate Escape. I only waited about five minutes, and that made the ride even better. The highlight of this ride is the back brake in my opinion. This is definately a ride that should not be passed up.

After that, we went over to Raging Wolf Bobs. This ride definetly improved since the retracking and new trains.I can't wait till next year when they finish retracking the rest of the ride.

Then we made our way over to Batman Knight Flight. I have always loved this ride, but this time my restraint wasn't as tight as it should be.That was not a good thing, so my ride was very rough with tons of headbanging. I know it was my fault that I didn't pull the restraint down enough, so I decided to do that next time, and go on it later on in the day.

After that we went over to Serial Thriller. It was a ten minute wait, and I actually love this ride. If you ride in the front, it's not that bad.

Then we made our way to The Villain. Wow. This is one great ride. No wonder why Amusment Today rated it the 27th best woodie in the nation. I love the first drop into its structure.

We decided to go to Big Dipper next. As you know, this is my favorite ride. A classic with great airtime. A definate 10.

After that, we went to the wildlife side. We saw the Tiger Island and the Killer Whale show. I like them both, and think that Shouka is definately improving. We decided to sit in the splash zone, and boy did we get soaked.

Then we headed back to the Wild Rides side. We noticed that Batman was stuck on the lift, and the other train was stuck on the brakes before the corkscrews. That meant it was closed for the rest of the day, and I couldn't get a ride on it again. After that, we headed to Double Loop. I think this is a good coaster, but I wish it was a little longer.

We went on some of the coasters again, and left. I am very glad at the improvements this park is making, and hope that it keeps getting better.

Nice TR. Did you notice any construction or ride removals on your visit?

Don't you hate it when coasters close when you want to get on them? It happened with Medusa at GADV, they said they were closing it at 6 but they closed it at 5 instead.

No, the only thing I saw was Silver Bullet, which we all know about. I didn't see any signs of a hyper, but I think it's definately coming. The workers said Batman was going to open later in the day, but they made no attempt to.All the workers were friendly, and it was a very great day.
